While being a somehow redundant quality to highlight, we feel it is interesting to let our clients know that we have mastered our language. This is part of what we believe is a good presentation of our skills with Spanish, a language we have used for more than 30 years to communicate with others in different contexts (ranging from daily life to scientific manuscripts, arts, technological guidelines, and many many more…). Do you want a good translation? Leave it in our hands, we won’t do it wrong! That means we:

– Are people who do use non-biased language, and are not influenced by external factors, such as regional tones, religious aspects, gender-biased language, and many other features.

We do believe the most important factor in a localisation process is the specialist taking care of it, but we do not deny the utility of modern localisation softwares to ease the overall process. As a result, we have adapted to some of the most common softwares for translation and TM creation, and we are learning to use more of those important tools, thus enhancing our capacity to work with big projects and multiple nested tasks with complex glossaries, and much more.

– Professional profficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Drive usage for localisation, including language column divisions, comments section, and more.

– Extensive usage of online crowdsourced localisation websites, including CrowdIn and Localisor, among others, including editor and proofreader tools, discussion sections, moderation and revision tasks.

– Professional profficiency with OmegaT

When full translations are not needed, we can also provide some help with the preparation of glossaries adapted to various topics. With the creation of thematic glossaries, subdivided into different sections and formatted according to the client’s needs, we can create powerful localisation databases, a highly valuable resource for any company looking to get the best results in coherent and homogeneous term usage. As a result, you will obtain:

– Complete game glossaries, divided by categories and with annotations when important context requests are needed.

– Revision, correction and support for new added terms over the inclusion of new gaming patches

– Special glossaries (i.e. image galleries, hyperlinks, icons…)

It goes without saying that all of our texts are proofread so that no important bugs/errors/misspellings are present in the delivered files. By checking files multiple times both ingame and out of its final platform, rest assure that the final quality of the text is far above average. For some  time after file delivery, Estyx Translations will also keep checking the provided product, making sure the final gaming experience is fluid, solid and with none to minimum flaws to be fixed. Our role is not finished once we deliver the final files and we get paid. We do care about doing it right; when it’s not, then we are there to get it done.
