About Estyx Translations

INTRODUCTION

Estyx Translations was born out of the interest of a single person in becoming a Localisation Specialist. The power of a single mind without the constraints of a crowded group have allowed him to rapidly grow his brand, therefore leading to the current situation in which Estyx Translations is part of the game development process of highly-trusted gaming companies. His creator, Alberto Gómez Herrera, is currently the single member of the company; however, he values teamwork and he loves expanding his limits, and has therefore future plans to increase the size of the team once Estyx Translations overcomes the many steps towards a successful freelance professional service for gaming localisation. Currently, Estyx Translations is also associated with other translators that provide translations to Italian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese, having extended our scope of work languages.

Since then, Alberto has offered himself to various gaming projects and has got various projects on a current and constant development, most of them on crowdsourced localisation websites. Within those projects, his great performance has allowed him to become main proofreader of his main language pair: English>Spanish (Spain), collaborating in 25 projects and with his translations being in apps and games ranging from GPS apps to 3rd person shooters, technical repair guides, adventure games and many more.
